Being one of the newest travel destinations in Europe, Bosnia-Herzegovina offers a vast variety of nature, culture and history, ready to be discovered by the adventurous traveller. Explore Sarajevo while walking through the bazaar-like Ottoman Quarter or strolling on the lush imperial boulevards, reminders of the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Within a few minutes it is possible to visit the shrines in a Serbian orthodox church and witness a Jewish ceremony near the synagogue. Take a train to Mostar through one of the most beautiful river valleys around and visit the Stari Most, that famous bridge that symbolises the Balkan war and the peace that followed. That diversity, together with the more than friendly people, is the biggest reason I love coming back to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
