Why not see the best that East Africa has to offer on an overland advntre through The Masai Heartlands (YOM)
Day 1 Nairobi
Get ready for this overland adventure in Kenya's exciting capital.
Day 2 Lake Nakuru
Capture one of Kenya's best-known images on camera on the shores of Lake Nakuru: an enormous flock of dusky pink flamingos feeding and frolicking on the shallow soda waters. There's also a wealth of game in this reserve so explore the surrounds to search for rhinos resting beneath acacia trees, prides of powerful lions, gentle giraffes and more.
Day 3 Eldoret
Enter the lush green Western Highlands- Kenya's tea country.
Days 4 - 6 Jinja/ Kampala
Entering Uganda, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Bujagali Falls and perhaps even take on the raging rapids in a raft.
Day 7 Lake Bunyoni
Travel through the mystical landscapes of the Lake Bunyoni region to discover some of the most picturesque scenery in all of Uganda. It's possible to hire a traditional dugout canoe to take on the lake. They can be hard to master at first but great fun.
Days 8-11 Gorilla Trek
Travel over dramatic mountains and through ancient forests to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This steamy rainforest derives its name from the dense vegetation that makes entry decidedly difficult, so come prepared with comfortable hiking boots, full water bottle and rain jacket. Tracking gorillas is a tremendous test of endurance but the time spent observing these gentle giants makes it totally worth it. The sight of these wonderfully human-like creatures munching on branches, climbing trees and cradling babies is completely captivating and few wildlife experiences can compare.
Day 12-14 Kampala/ Eldoret/ Nairobi
It's back to Nairobi, Kenya's exciting capital.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

This was a good trip. As it is a new trip, there are suggestions that I have made through the feedback form, but overall, it was a great experience. The group was fantastic, the leaders competent and fun, the wildlife in Kenya plentiful, and the gorillas absolutely amazing.
Kristi Hanratty
Overall, bloody brilliant experience. Lelei, Simon and Evans were the kindest, most informed, caring guides i've ever had. Apart from a few teething probs with Gorilla permits and money etc, it was fab. I'd do it again in a flash!
Jane Burnett
Trip was brilliant great leader and crew but problems with seeing the gorillas as we couldn't go in groups. 1 of the group had to go on his own, we went over 3 days and we were always left to last. Also had to spend more on a visa as wasn't told when an extra country had been added.
Nina Allsopp
We were on the trip as part of our Honeymoon. We had a really amazing time and met loads of amazing people. The crew were just brilliant and made our trip really memorable.
Susan Byrne
The best holiday I've had. A road trip with a spacious truck, room to lie down, an intimate group of new friends,an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, good food made with simple camp equipment, and many unforgettable experiences... so many that the gorilla encounter in the mountain jungle seemed almost like a normal occurrence!
