Travelling, for me, is largely driven by history, food and curiosity; I want to know what you eat and what your family recipes are. Travel totally legitimises my nosy nature. I am too tall to be comfortable in a plane beyond 2 movies, so I always arrive and unfold myself into a country with the greatest sense of relief and gratitude. You will recognise me in airports as the tall brunette, with bags under her eyes, a slightly confused but beatific expression, and Radiohead playing in her headphones; come over and tell me your stories.
