I suppose a love story with a Colombian prince (ok, not actually a prince but you can be damned sure I was treated like a princess when I followed him home) oriented my life towards a 10-year-long Latin American obsession, and eventually propelling me towards a dream job managing Central America product for Intrepid. I am now fluent in Spanish, maker of ceviche and empanadas, have called three Latin American countries home, and today, am still partial to a Latino man (the love story didn’t have a fairy-tale ending).
