Vera Holroyd could only dream of traveling when she was a kid, but is now making up for it as an adult. During her trips she is happiest exploring neighborhoods during her morning runs, finding adventures off the beaten path, taking cooking classes and chatting up the locals. A native of Slovenia and a Mom of two teens, she now calls Chicago home.
