We’re all for getting close to nature, but this is just ridiculous. Antarctic traveller Emma Gilchrist (hereby referred to as the luckiest girl in the world) got the surprise of her life when a posse of humpback whales surfaced right next to her kayak. It’s fair to say there’s no guarantee this will happen to you on your Antarctic expedition, but do you know where it’s even less likely to happen? NOT IN ANTARCTICA. Think about it.
