Visa and entry requirements for Bali

Most travellers need a visa to enter Bali (Indonesia). Some foreign nationals must apply for an e-visa online in advance, but most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Denpasar International Airport. Always check the Indonesian government website or your government's foreign travel advisories for the latest information.

To enter Bali, you may also need:

  • Valid passport with at least six months of validity after you leave and at least two blank pages for stamping

  • Proof of sufficient funds

  • Proof of onward travel
