Central America 18 to 35s tours

Sun, salsa (the eating and the dancing) and good times. Central America is where it’s at. Whether you want to kick back on the Caribbean coast, eat your fill of tacos in Mexico or go sloth-spotting in Costa Rica, there’s a Central American adventure waiting for you.

Why choose us

The ultimate adventures

You can’t travel to Cuba without riding in a vintage car but learning to salsa with the locals in a smoky nightclub is just as memorable. That’s why we’ve included the big-ticket items, as well as plenty of free time.

Local leaders, local connections

Travelling with an experienced leader means you can just enjoy the moment, rather than worrying about when the last train leaves. They’ll also share stories and take you to places that only the locals know about.

Small (but not too small) groups

Our groups are made up of 10 travellers on average. That’s big enough to create a good vibe, but small enough to explore a destination independently. And if you’re travelling solo, it’s the perfect number of new friends.

A sustainable way to travel

We believe that travelling sustainably is important. Through our not-for-profit The Intrepid Foundation, we are committed to supporting projects around the world – from reducing carbon in the environment to supporting the livelihoods of local communities.

Stay real in cool places

We think where you lay your head at night can be just as cool as what you see during the day. Whether that be sleeping on a sailing boat off the coast of Turkey or rocking to sleep on an overnight train from Berlin to Krakow.

Make your money go further

Want big-time experiences without the big-time price tag? Our 18 to 35s travel style means staying in simple, well-located accommodation, taking local transport and enjoying tasty local food, so you choose where your spending money goes.

One Week In Costa Rica

Rawan · Traveled July 2024
A great value for a quick trip around Costa Rica. The itinerary gives a lot of flexibility for activities and it's a good balance between travel days, hiking/outdoorsy activities, and going out during the evenings. Sofi is an excellent leader and always willing to help everyone make the most of our time there. We had a great group of people too. I will miss Costa Rica and it's fresh coffee/food.

One Week In Costa Rica

Our trip leader, Sofia, was fantastic with her positive energy and activity recommendations! Costa Rica's beauty is endless, and the itinerary balanced jungle and beach experiences perfectly. The hotels could use slight improvement.

Real Central America

Niamh · Traveled July 2024
I was able to do and see so many things that I wouldn't have been able to manage on my own as a solo traveller. I got to do so many incredible things like swimming through caves or relaxing in natural hot springs. Our guide Aquilino was great and had so much knowledge of the counties we were in.
