Flinders Ranges National Park Tours & Holidays

From weathered peaks to rocky gorges, get lost in the magic of Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park

Taking the top spot for the largest mountain range in South Australia, the Flinders Ranges were naturally created over 800 million years ago and have been home to the traditional owners, the Adnyamathanha people, for tens of thousands of years. Explore stunning valleys, gorges, and creeks while uncovering stories of these ancient landscapes on a hiking adventure. Get up close to the region's unique wildlife and unusual Outback flora in Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. Or meet an Adnyamathanha guide to learn about their culture, history and connection to the land at a family-run cultural centre.

Horrible trip. Disappointing because tour leader surly, agitated and untrained - had no knowledge of the places we visited. The transport totally unsuitable for the roads. Iga Warta experience should be missed.

South Australia Outback Adventure

A trip well worth doing to experience remote Australian Outback. Arnie my tour leader was fantastic, he really went above and beyond to ensure everyone on our tour had a unique experience, he asked us what we what from the trip and set out to make that happen. This trip for me was having someone drive me on some really difficult roads, Arnie was a great driver, I could sit back and enjoy the ride though this amazing country, every day offered something different. Highly recommend this tour.

South Australia Outback Adventure

Incredible trip getting a taste of the South Australian outback. Sarah was amazing and had so.much knowledge to share. Great way to see places a bot harder to get to when solo travelling. Be prepared for remote, bumpy roads and flies...lots of flies! Fantastic trip.

Outback South Australia is not to be missed. Trip visits small towns, involves long, bumpy travel days with interesting stops along the way....oh and lots of flies! Sarah was an amazing leader who shared her love of the outback with us and made the trip so much fun. This itinerary was one of my favourite Intrepid trips so far (and I've done a lot).
