Australia tours in September 2025

There’s a rich history in Australia to uncover (and we're not just talking about the gold, pearl and opal hotspots)

Across the country, temperatures start their yearly rise, and while the top end is always pretty balmy, September sees a comfortable average of 18-24 across most of the major Australian cities. With an adventure awaiting you in any direction, you’ll have to decide if you spend this month picnicking by the cliffs in Western Australia, jumping in natural pools in the Northern Territory, taking in ancient rock art in Tasmania or swimming with the fishes (aka snorkelling) in the Great Barrier Reef. And, for those interested in the 'rich' history, learn about the oldest family-owned pearl farm in Cygnet Bay, gold in Ballarat and opal mining in Cooper Pedy.

Walk Queensland's Scenic Rim

Melissa · Traveled September 2024
Our Scenic Rim Walking Tour was amazing! Our tour leader Alison, was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and looked after all our needs from day 1. The walking was very manageable and we learnt a lot about the birds and wildflife. It was so much fun sharing the experience with like minded people and relaxing at night time with each other. I highly recommend this trip. It has changed my outlook on being with nature, and I am ready to keep exploring our beautiful world.
