Uzbekistan Tours & Holidays

Experience a remote adventure – well and truly off the tourist trail – in dazzling Uzbekistan.

There are the famous cultural sites we’ve been told we have to visit (here’s looking at you, Instagram), and then there are the iconic sites we never knew we had to see. Like the glittering turquoise domes of Registan Square in Samarkand, the breathtaking Kalon Mosque and Minaret in the ancient Silk Road city of Bukhara. And outside of the cities, Uzbekistan is just as full of surprises – like the traditional villages of the Nuratau Mountains or a desert-bound yurt camp. This is Uzbekistan, in all its charming glory.

Intrepid's Premium Uzbekistan exceeded my already high expectations. The three historic cities we visited were incredibly beautiful, and different from anywhere i have travelled before. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and everything was very well organised. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend travelling to Uzbekistan. The country is fascinating, safe and not yet overcrowded with tourists. Good for solo female travellers. Intrepid’s premium tour offers a mix of all the main sights with local connections. A mix of walking, exploring and authentic hotels but still with comforts like private bus transport etc. Our guide Jonibek was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, calm, organised and passionate about his country. Every day was better than the next.

Uzbekistan was a bucketlist trip that did not disappoint. Ancient, middle ages, and modern history combine through architecture, culture, and a very friendly population. A variety of activities made us travelors and not just tourists, all lead by an amazing local guide.
