New Zealand walking tours tours

New Zealand's natural beauty will take your breath away more than the walking will.

Why do a walking holiday in New Zealand? Because where else can you spend the morning hiking up to a hanging glacier followed by wine tasting at a boutique cellar door? Where else can you walk through forests of sweet-smelling manuka trees to the song of bellbirds or listen to ancient Maori stories of how the mountains and rivers were created? From exploring secluded bays and natural pools in Abel Tasman National Park to discovering the stunning Marlborough Sounds on the Queen Charlotte Track, a New Zealand walking tour will show you why so many travellers fall in love with this country.

Stunning, beautiful 3 day hike through the Marlborough Sound. Accommodation is warm and cosy, boat transfers easily conducted and you leave with a greater appreciation of the utter sereneness that is New Zealand. Also, so many birds to see!

Walk New Zealand's Fiordland National Park

Intrepid-Trips & Tramps "Walk New Zealand's Fiordland National Park" A wonderful way to taste the NZ Great Walks and the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand's Fiordland. Each day a different aspect of the region followed by a comfortable night in the lovely township of Te Anau. Great comradeship of a small group along with the fun of the Glow Worm cave, eBikes and a Jet boat. Many thanks to Rohann Mackrell of Trips & Tramps as a wonderful guide and for expertly show casing the region.

Our trip leader Jef was friendly, informative and pleasant. It was easy to have conversations with him about a wide variety of topics. He had a good sense of humour and my wife and I learned a lot. We would happily go on another trip led by Jef.

Awesome trip, Milford Sounds in the rain was a highlight, Waterfalls galore. Walking the day trips on the 3 great walks was a good taster to go back and do the hikes.
