Words can’t really do Asia justice; you have to see it for yourself.
Asia is a small word that describes a big place. Actually, huge may be more accurate. Each region holds as much culture and diversity as the last and with our range of long trips, you can spend quality time understanding and appreciating several of them.
Perhaps you’d like to cross off the majority of South East Asia in a few weeks or maybe see the Silk Road or Stans all in one go. If you’d like to focus on just one country, we’ve got in-depth trips through India, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam and Nepal. Seeing all of Asia may seem as big a task as climbing Mt Everest, so let’s get to it.

While India may be known for its stunning man-made buildings, tasty street food and endless colour, its wildlife should really get a mention too. And in Ranthambhore National Park, you’ll get the chance to spot them yourself as protected tigers, hyenas, langur monkeys, and more enjoy India’s vibrant greenery and an ancient fort lost to the jungle.
It’s a classic South East Asian icon and for good reason, Angkor Wat is the temple of all temples. A marvel in architecture, Angkor Wat and its nearby neighbour, Angkor Thom, are two artful displays of stonework, made even more magnificent by the way nature has tried to reclaim them. What’s better, we offer a sunrise visit for those really looking to get the best view.
One of those ‘You’ve got to see it to believe it’ icons, the Door to Hell is an eternally burning gas pit in the Karakum Desert of Turkmenistan. A few Soviet scientists set fire to it decades ago, and it’s been burning ever since. If you like your landmarks with a touch of wacky irony, this will be right up your alley. Plus, it’s a great reason to venture off the beaten track and check out Turkmenistan, possibly the only country in the world with an enormous revolving statue of gold.
