Southern Ocean Nullarbor Tours & Holidays

At first blush this 1,600-kilometre stretch of highway might seem devoid of anything interesting. But ask those who have travelled along its dusty length and you’ll usually hear the road makes for surreal travel.

As horizons warp and perspectives alter, questions present themselves. How did Indigenous Australia survive out here? How can the ground above Australia’s largest underwater lake be so arid? Whatever became of the Nullarbor Nymph? Much more than a whole lot of nothing, crossing the Nullarbor has become a rite of passage for travellers wanting to fathom Australia’s sheer vastness.

Eyre Peninsula Adventure

Jan · Traveled August 2024
A well paced itenary that explored the Eyre Peninsula. I went for the whale watching which was fantastic. But I was pleasantly surprised with the rest of the Eyre Peninsula. The Coffin Bay oyster experience was great even though I don't like oysters! The only disappointment was the Aboriginal Community stay at Bookabie. There was virtually no cultural activity or interaction. The manager seemed uninterested with us as a group and had no interest in assisting us to try and see any of the local wombats.

Eyre Peninsula Adventure

Suzanne · Traveled June 2024
The Eyre Peninsula has history, quirky towns and beautiful scenery. Hikes along rocky gorges, climbs up monoliths in the Gawler Ranges. There’s lots of wildlife: kangaroos, emus, wedgetail eagles, whales, seal lions and wombats. The rugged southern coastline is spectacular. Memorable sunrises and sunsets. Much laughter shucking oysters at CoffinBay.
