Intrepid appoints new General Manager in Jordan

Intrepid Travel, a world leader in responsible travel, has appointed Salam Shaqdeeh to the role of General Manager for Jordan.   

Salam will oversee operations and lead the team in Intrepid’s new hub in Amman, which launched in May this year.  

Having worked in the travel industry since 2009, Salam most recently managed operations and sales for Abercrombie & Kent (Jordan) for the last nine years. She comes with a wealth of experience and local knowledge of the region. 

She will play an essential role in advancing Intrepid’s 2030 strategy, focusing on growth opportunities that positively impact local communities. She will cultivate new relationships to expand The Intrepid Foundation (TIF) partners to help make a positive impact on local communities on the ground.  

Salam said: “I’m very excited to join the team at Intrepid and hope that together, our presence in Jordan will make a difference in the tourism industry.”
