Kata Tjuta Tours & Holidays

There’s more than one rock in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park worth marvelling at…

In fact, there are 36 of them. Formerly known as ‘The Olgas’, Kata Tjuta’s towering collection of rock formations stands 546 metres high, covers more than 20 square kilometres and will undoubtedly leave you with a lasting impression of the Red Centre’s natural beauty. Meaning ‘many heads’ in Pitjantjatjara language, Kata Tjuta was, and remains, a sacred site to the Anangu people - a gathering place for men’s business. And you can feel this importance as you stand between the domes on your way to Walpa Gorge or trek the Valley of the Winds in search of views no camera will ever do justice. But charge it anyway, you’ll want to remember this.

My first Intrepid tour. The guide, Federico, made it a memorable and excellent experience. The schedule was packed but I did not feel it was rushed at any point. 5 stars

Uluru & Kings Canyon Express

Really enjoyed my short 3-day trip to Ularu, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon (also passing Mt Conner/Artilla). Amazed by the variety AND similarities between the sites, learning some geological and cultural facts - thanks Federico our guide. But highlight was Kaarke Cultural experience with Natasha & Peter. Well done Intrepid.

Uluru & Kings Canyon Adventure

A really enjoyable trip to the Red Centre of Australia. We visited the all key sites and there was time for hiking and spending time just soaking up the environment. The organisation was great and overall the trip was excellent value for money.

Red Centre & Uluru Explorer

Wow! what a wonderful experience to get up close to a very special place in Australia. Seeing the variety of textures of nature was an absolute thrill. Having someone else take care of all the logistics and essentials was the best way to have a relaxing fun filled adventure.
