Head straight into the wilds of the Kimberley region on this five-day family-friendly adventure. This often overlooked and untouched part of Australia’s outback is thriving with unique wildlife, rugged cliffs, gigantic gorges and clear waterholes for young – and old – kids to explore. Learn of the area’s myths and legends, stake out your next pristine swimming spot, try your hand at some local artwork and relax beside the campfire to watch the Kimberley night sky come alive in swathes of stars above. And what’s more, you won’t need to worry about directions or most meals as our local team has got all of that covered. All you need is to be ready for an incredible Aussie adventure!

- Your whole family will be spoilt with the amount of places to swim and explore in the Kimberley. On the cards are Windjana Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Manning Gorge and more!
- Learn of the mysterious legend of the Aboriginal freedom fighter who hid out in the Tunnel Creek cave system as you explore the same paths on a guided nature walk.
- Spend quality time sharing stories and toasting marshmallows around a campfire as the night sky in the Kimberley lights up with stars you’ll never have seen at home.
- During your hike through in the Windjana Gorge National Park, you and your leader will go in search of resident freshwater crocodiles in the area. Be sure to keep your distance!
- Get the opportunity to appreciate the works of local Indigenous artists as you stop by Norval Art Gallery in Derby. Kids – you may even have time to try some out yourself!
- This trip involves walking on uneven terrain. So good sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
- Sorry kids – no wi-fi! There will be long stretches during this trip when you will be out of phone reception. Telstra users should get phone reception in most towns and the occasional remote hot spot. Power points will be accessible on most nights for recharging cameras and other electronic equipment.
- Rise and shine! This trip includes some early starts to get the most out of the day.

FAMILY TRIP & MINIMUM AGE
Please note that these trips are for adults and children travelling together and there must be at least one child under 18 with you. The minimum age for children on this trip is 5 years old. A discount of 10% applies on this trip to children under 17 years of age at time of travel.
START & END TIME
This trip starts in Broome with an early pick-up at 7:30am on day 1 at our default pick-up location, unless you request an alternative pick-up location well ahead of departure. The trip finishes at around 5:00pm on the last day. We recommend you arrive a day prior to the trip's departure date and onward travel should not be booked until the following day.
CAMPING TRIP & SLEEPING BAG
This trip is a camping trip. You will be required to put up and down your own tent. All campsites will have hot showers and flush toilets. Please bring your own sleeping bags on this tour or they can be purchased from us in advance.
