Is this trip right for you?

  • You’ll travel by train – the most eco-friendly way to move between places. Trains are comfortable and are the perfect way to arrive right into the city centre of your next destination. Please note you will have to carry your bag up and down the platforms and on and off the train. Pack light!
  • There will be a walking tour included in cities and short hike in Szklarska Poreba. The tours may cover a fair amount of ground, so please make sure you are happy to be on your feet for a few hours at a time. Of course, you can always opt out and meet the group later on.
  • On this trip, you must pack as lightly as possible because you will be expected to carry your own bag and although you won't be required to walk long distances with your luggage (max 30 minutes), we strongly recommend keeping the weight under 15 kg / 33 lb. Most travellers carry their luggage in a backpack, although an overnight bag with a shoulder strap would suffice if you travel lightly. Smaller bags or backpacks with wheels are convenient although we recommend your bag has carry straps to accommodate the cobbled streets, uneven surfaces, stairs and steps you are likely to encounter while carrying your luggage. You'll also need a day pack/bag to carry water and a camera etc for day trips.

Important notes

1. A single supplement is bookable for this trip, including all nights. Availability is limited due to small property we use. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
2. Many travellers visiting Krakow would like to take a sobering walk through the Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz and Birkenau. This activity is not included in the trip. If you would like to visit Auschwitz, we suggest prebooking your tickets for afternoon of Day 2.
