Wonderful trip and really great itinerary. Isle of Skye is such a great highlight and having extra time to explore on our own was great. Also, Aidan was the best guide!

Walk Hadrian's Wall Highlights

Richard · Traveled October 2023
If you love walking through beautiful and spectacular landscapes and you’re also into discovering history first-hand, this is the trip for you. The daily walking is very well planned, the visits to historical sites are fascinating, and the accommodation is great. We were lucky to have a fabulous leader and some very benign weather. Loved it.

Scotland's Orkney Islands

Valerie · Traveled October 2023
The Orkney Islands are beautiful to the eye and the soul. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Care for the groups was definitely his priority and Alistair managed to accomplish this without being instructive. The meals and spirits of the island should not be missed.

Scotland's Orkney Islands

Brian · Traveled October 2022
The islands are a really interesting place to visit, there is just so much history, and the landscape is wild. It is really windy so take some layers, we even watched as a waterfall on the coast was being blown upwards! We were lucky to have the use of a van on the island so we went to more sites than on the itinerary. The towns are nice, but it is the landscape and history that make the place. Plus, John the tour leader was great!
