- Hike along one of Denali National Park’s iconic trails, enjoying the expansive wilderness views and even spotting the summit of Denali on a clear day.
- Walk along the Harding Icefield trail near Seward, past Exit Glacier and up to the icefield for views of the glacial ice stretching as far as the eye can see.
- Cross Kachemak Bay by water taxi then kayak around Yukon Island, admiring the coastal Alaskan scenery while keeping an eye out for whales, sea lions and eagles.
- Look out over the stunning scenery of Alaska's varied landscapes both during your hikes and from your scenic campgrounds, positioned perfectly for you to enjoy this region around the clock.
- Explore with an expert guide who’ll show you all of Alaska’s highlights, and maybe even a few hidden spots less frequented by visitors.
- This is a hiking trip with some hikes taking up to 8 hours over rocky terrain, so a good level of fitness is a must. Be sure to bring appropriate gear for this trip, including good walking boots, rain gear, warm clothing and sun protection for hikes, including sunglasses.
- This is a camping trip where you are expected to pitch in with setting up tents and helping out with cooking and washing up.
- That teamwork also extends to our optional food kitty of approximately USD 30 per day, run to cover the cost of meals. This kitty saves you worrying about stuff like where to get food or what exactly sales tax is, and actually helps keep your costs down. Instead of paying individually as you go, it means we can bulk purchase items and cook our own food – though there’s always the chance to use it for the occasional pizza night! The kitty is optional and for your convenience, so if you've got specific dietary requirements you can opt out and purchase (and cook) your own food.
- Alaska is big. Travel times between some destinations can be long. You'll be spending a fair amount of time in a van with other travellers, so conditions may feel a little cramped. This allows you to see some stunning scenery and is all part of the adventure - you might even make some long-term friends.
