- The Friend(trip) (Campaign) is open to applicants who submit an application through this link. You must be aged 18+ to submit an application. The application will require you to provide your full name, DOB, email address, country of residence, and social media link(s).
- The application period opens 00:01am NZDT 01 July 2024 and ends on 23:59pm PDT 31 July 2024.
- Intrepid Travel holds the right to close the application period before 23:59pm PDT 31 July 2024.
- Intrepid Travel, in its sole discretion, will select successful applicants (Travellers). Travellers will then be notified via email regarding their successful entry into the Campaign no later than 17:00pm PDT 16 August 2024. Travellers will need to reply to this email within three business days to confirm their participation in the Campaign.
- To participate in the Campaign, Travellers must provide their personal details and travel documents three business days after they agree to patriciate in the Campaign.
- If selected by Intrepid Travel, the Campaign entitles Travellers to receive one (1) place on either Real Delhi to Kathmandu, or One Week in Morocco: Sahara & Todra Gorge. Trips will be custom and may not follow the itinerary on the website. Travellers will also receive a flight stipend of two thousand Australian dollars ($2,000 AUD).
- Travellers must feel comfortable being on camera and must sign a consent to film waiver before travelling.
- Travellers must upload any content relating to the Campaign to Pixlee and agree to Pixlee’s terms of service before their trip commences.
- Travellers must be able to travel internationally between 1 November 2024 – 15 December 2024 . If you cannot confirm you can travel during this period, your application will be deemed invalid.
- If Travellers can no longer travel 30 days before their trip commences, they will be liable to cover unredeemable costs.
- Travellers must confirm they are willing to share a room whilst travelling. We will secure single rooms where possible, but single rooms may not always be available based on accommodation logistics.
- Travel documents & vaccination requirements are the responsibility of the individual Traveller.
- All travel is subject to the Intrepid Booking Conditions which can be found at: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/booking-intrepid/booking-conditions. Each Traveller will be required to agree to the current booking conditions including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time.
- Personal information including the eligible entrant’s name, email, suburb, country and walk location will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Campaign. This may require disclosure to third parties, including Intrepid Travel’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Campaign.

- The Campaign shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
- Intrepid Travel and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw Campaign in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, Intrepid Travel, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a Traveller or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death except where it is caused by the negligence of the Intrepid Travel, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- In order to confirm your registration into Campaign, we request that you read the below Collection Notice. The purpose of the Collection Notice is to explain how we handle your personal information we receive about you when you register. This Collection Notice should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy which is available here: Intrepid Travel Privacy Policy.
- As we are a large international group, your completed entry form may be shared within the Intrepid Group Pty Limited (Intrepid Group) and any of our related entities worldwide.
- Collection and disclosure of your personal information:
- We may collect, hold, use and share your completed registration form for the following purposes:
- to process your registration in the Campaign;
- if you are selected as a Traveller:
- to facilitate the booking process and provide you with our travel products and services, administer your reservations and tours, manage your account settings, and generally administer and manage our customer relationship with you;
- where permitted by law, where it is in your vital interest or you provide your consent to do so, your medical/health information may be shared to ensure that we understand any specific needs you may have, before and during your trip. Any pre-existing medical conditions could impact your enjoyment of the trip, and by informing us of any conditions, issues, or limitations, we can ensure that Intrepid is better prepared to assist if required; and
- we collect insurance and emergency contact details in the case of any medical emergency;
- carry out our marketing activities, including identify and tell you about other travel related products or services that we think may be of interest to you, process feedback forms and other similar communications; and
- we may also collect and/or use your information if we are required to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, if we are authorised to do so by law, or to comply with the law.
- We may share your personal information, as follows:
- Where you consent to us sharing your personal information;
- Within our related entities, including within the Intrepid Group; or
- Where authorised or required to do so by law, or with insurance providers or medical personnel.
- Access to your personal information:
- You can ask us for access to your personal information and to correct any inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information we hold about you by contacting us on the information set out in the ‘Contact Us’ section below.
- Where possible we will comply with your request, however, there may be instances where we cannot fulfil your request. We will always communicate with you any consequences before going forward, or give you written reasons for any refusal (where we able to do so under applicable law).
