Visa and entry requirements for Pakistan

All nationalities will need a visa before travelling to Pakistan. You can apply for an online tourist visa on the Government of Pakistan website. This must be done well ahead of travel, and you’ll need a letter of invitation to apply, which will be issued at the time of booking.   • A passport issued within the past ten years 

  • Proof of onward or exit travel 

  • Proof of sufficient funds 

  • Proof of accommodation  

  • An Electronic Authorisation to Travel (ETA)

What to pack

The autumn, summer and spring in Pakistan are quite hot, so loose layers are recommended. If you’re trekking, pack warm clothing, too. As a conservative country, aim for modest clothing.
