Argentina Tours & Holidays

Leafy vineyards, eclectic galleries, char-grilled barbecue evenings and epic waterfalls make for one big tantalising adventure.

From saucy cities brimming with bars to monster waterfalls and all the steak you can eat, Argentina promises (and delivers) good times to all who come. Drink to a good drop in Mendoza, be blown away by the aquatic thundering of Iguazu Falls, take a gondola up a mountain in Salta, or lose yourself to some hip shakin’ nights in the bars of Buenos Aires all the way to Rio de Janeiro. It’s hard to imagine the continent of South America (or the world) without that flaming wedge known as Argentina.

We trusted Intrepid with our first trip to South America, based on a previous good experience. Intrepid's tour leader, Augustin, helped open our eyes and minds to some of the world's most beautiful and special places.

We trusted Intrepid with our first trip to South America, based on a previous good experience. Intrepid's tour leader, Augustin, helped open our eyes and minds to some of the world's most beautiful and special places previously hidden from and unknown to our consciousness. Huge thanks to Intrepid and Augustin!

Premium Argentina & Brazil

Amazing trilingual guide (Gus). Great itinerary, except in Buenos Aires (B.A.), which was overscheduled with some low-value activities – silly tango lesson & Evita cemetery visit. "Premium" trip was worth every penny: comfy to luxurious hotels, direct flights, comfy vans, lavish included meals. Definitely book extra hotel nights before & after, to really explore B.A. & Rio. In B.A., visit San Telmo district & market, & book a tango show the night BEFORE the welcome dinner (all shows run from 10 to 11 p.m.). Highly recommend "Piazzolla Tango," which includes Astor's music & amazing dancing, at an unusually reasonable US $45 (show only, you can add food & drinks on arrival).

We trusted Intrepid with our first trip to South America, based on a previous good experience. Intrepid's tour leader, Augustin Galetto, helped open our eyes and minds to some of the world's most beautiful and special places previously hidden from and unknown to our consciousness. Huge thanks to Intrepid, its local guides, and Augustin!

Argentina & Brazil Adventure

Julie · Traveled July 2024
This was a very well organised interesting trip with an outstanding guide. I would suggest booking a couple of extra days in Rio as this was a bit rushed . The trip is not physically demanding and all hikes / treks are along designated pathways .Guides throughout the trip were of a very high standard and the transport provided by the company is top class . The hotel standards are variable but all clean and safe .
