Mexico Tours & Trips

Peel back the lucha libre mask and you’ll find a patchwork of cultures and customs mixed into one flavor-filled country.

The gregarious locals are just as likely to pull you up for a dance at one of Mexico City’s hip-shaking salsa clubs as they are to show you the way to one of the country’s many ancient ruins, all with a casual ‘hola’ and an inviting smile. While our tours get you up close with locals, they also show you the best sights from on and off the gringo trail. You can party until dawn in Playa del Carmen, eat your way into a food coma in colorful Oaxaca, or, best of all, kick back with a horchata in the lazy seaside port of Merida.

Yucatan Peninsula Adventure

Karthikeya · Traveled August 2024
This was not worth the $1950 I spent. Accomodations were poor (pillows stained, ants) and they could've afforded better ones since it was low season. One hotel nightly rate was $26 when i checked. Itinerary is weak and critical activities were optional -> Bacalar lake cruise and dos ojos cenote. Transportation was good but, why should I pay Intrepid when ADO bus goes to critical towns in Yucatan and it costs $10 one way and its amazing? The only reason it *might* have been worth it is the tour guide but tour guide was largely disorganized (didn't mention optional activities like dos ojos cenote) and it felt like she did the bare minimum. I'll give her a break because it seemed like a novice but I paid so much money. Do not do this trip.

Mexico Unplugged

Julie · Traveled August 2024
I loved the whole trip throughout Mexico. Highlights were Museo Nacional de Antropologia, Mexico City. The visit to San Pedro Tlahuac farm tour and lunch. The fabulous day visit to San Juan Chamula Church which was out of this world and the Zinacantan church and people. The Sumidero Canyon boat trip. The Agua Azul cascades. The Palenque archaeological zone was the most impressive of the ruins. Loved Merida. Chichen Itza was also excellent. However our Guide Valeria Valdivia was outstanding. We were always given the best advice for where to visit and where to eat. Her commentary and knowledge about everything Mexican was supurb. She made sure we arrived at sites early to beat the crowds and the heat and her personality blended with our small group of single travellers who gelled together like old mates.

Mexico Family Holiday

Celeste · Traveled August 2024
My 11 year old son and I went on the Mexico Family trip. We had a great time together exploring the Cenotes, beaches and ancient ruins. There was time to do our own thing and explore the areas we visited. A highlight of our trip was the visit to the Mayan family to see the way that they lived and try a delicious home cooked meal. I would recommend this trip to other families.

It was the most amazing experience. Days were jam packed with activities and I met so many great people. This trip allowed me to do things I couldn’t do by myself.

Real Mexico

Charlotte · Traveled August 2024
An amazing trip that shows the real Mexico outside of the resorts. Unique towns, delicious food and amazing nature. The Mexicans really know how to live a colourful and energetic life. This trip will make you smile, laugh and dance through life.
