Competition Period 

The Competition commences at [09:00am] [EST] on February 21, 2025, and ends at [11:59 pm] [EST] on February 23, 2025 (Competition Period). 

No entry details submitted before or after this time will be valid.  

Entry Eligibility 

The competition is open to entrants based in North America, aged 18 years or older and excludes employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this competition breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Only one entry per person will be available (Eligible Entrant).

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties in bulk, or that have been altered, reconstructed or tampered with will be rejected. 

Prizes 

There will be three prize winners in total. The prize winners will receive one of the following prizes, to be determined by Intrepid Travel: 

Two spots on an Intrepid Travel small group adventure trip 

• A booking for the prize winner and a guest (2 people total) on an Intrepid Travel trip to one of the following destinations, dependent on availability, details outlined here:

• The final decision on the destination and trip will be made by Intrepid Travel. Prize also includes accommodation for the night prior to the trip and the night immediately after the trip concludes if necessary. 

• Not included in the Prize is travel to the starting point/from the finishing point of the trips, travel insurance, any additional meals or accommodation not included in the itinerary.  

• All travel is subject to the Intrepid Booking Conditions which can be found at: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/booking-intrepid/booking-conditions. The winner will be required to agree to the current Booking Conditions at the time of booking including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time. 

• The Prizes are strictly non-transferable to another person, trip or redeemable for cash.  

• The Prize must be fully booked/redeemed by October 4, 2025, and travel must have commenced by December 15, 2025.  

• The Prize is subject to availability at time of booking. A minimum of 4 travellers must be confirmed on the Intrepid trip for the for the prize winner booking to be confirmed on their requested date. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.  

• The winner is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any required visas, vaccinations and travel documentation.  From 1 May 2021, the Promoter introduced new vaccination and testing requirements that apply to all of our trips. This policy may be subject to change prior to your trip.  

• The winner must book the Intrepid prize directly with the Promoter and quote the winning promo code which will be sent to the winner.     

• There will be 1 winner with a guest (2 people total) determined in respect of this promotion. 

Two gift vouchers for your next day tour with Urban Adventures 

• The vouchers can be redeemed between February 28, 2025, to December 31, 2025, on an Intrepid Urban Adventure day tours only. 

• The voucher amount applies to the trip price only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. 

• Our trips are subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid at time of booking. 

• Except as set out expressly above, Intrepid’s Booking Conditions apply. 

• Offer subject to change or removal at any time. 

$300 CAD off select Intrepid Travel small group adventure trips 

• This offer applies to new bookings made and deposited between February 28, 2025 00:00 ET and August 31, 2025 11:59pm PT, for select trips departing between February 28, 2025 to December 14, 2025. 

• This offer is only available on bookings made in USD and CAD.   

• $300 CAD off* can be applied towards select Intrepid Travel small group trips that are over $1,000 CAD, excluding the following:  

1. All Basix and 18-35 Category trips;     

2. All polar trips in the Antarctic and Arctic;   

3. Short-Break Adventures;   

4. Tailor-Made Experiences;  

5. Urban Adventures trips;   

6. Expedition trips.  

• All offers apply to the trip price only, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.  

• All offers apply to land element of trip only and cannot be redeemed against additional accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, or local payments/ kittys.   

• Our trips are subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid at the time of booking.   

• If you wish to cancel and rebook your trip or change dates outside the promotional period, you will be required to pay the full cost towards the new trip.     

• Except as set out above, Intrepid’s Booking Conditions apply. 

• Travel documents & vaccination requirements are the responsibility of the individual traveler.    

Prize Draw Date

The draw will take place at the Promoter’s Canadian office - Intrepid Travel Group Canada Inc (BC0816795) at 215 Spadina Ave, Suite 300, Toronto, ON, M5T 2C7, Canada by 5:00 PM (EST) on February 26, 2025. (Prize Draw Date). 

The winner will be notified in writing by email to the email address used to enter the Competition.  

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Prize Winner. 

The winner must acknowledge receipt of the prize by March 7, 2025. If the winner isn’t available to take up the prize, we may award the prize to another entrant (or not award the prize at all) without liability to the winner.  

The Promoter’s decision is final.  

Collection and use of your personal information   

Personal Information including the Eligible Entrant’s [Name, address, email] will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition.

Jurisdiction

The promotion shall be governed by Canadian law.   

General

The Promoter and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.  

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
