Intrepid appoints new General Manager in North Europe

Inga Rós Antoníusdóttir will oversee operations and lead the team in Intrepid’s new hub in Copenhagen – Intrepid's 27th country office globally
Intrepid Travel, a world leader in responsible travel, has appointed Inga Rós Antoníusdóttir as General Manager for North Europe. Based in Copenhagen, Inga will be responsible for operations and outbound sales from the region.
She will play an essential role in accelerating Intrepid’s 2030 strategy, focusing on growth opportunities in Northern Europe, a region that has recently seen significant interest as travellers seek cooler destinations during the summer months. Intrepid currently operates 17 itineraries in Iceland, Scandinavia, and the Baltics and experienced 29% passenger growth in 2023/24.
Inga brings extensive experience in tourism, sustainability and digital transformation. From 2019 to 2022, she was Head of Digital Development at the Icelandic Tourist Board where she co-founded the Iceland Travel Tech conference. Previously, she worked as Market Manager for Expedia, Iceland.
Over the past decade, Inga has focused on Nordic projects, collaborating with digital startups in areas ranging from hotel management software to online astronaut training.
