Multi-active tours

Sometimes, the best adventures are found outside the city limits

For some of us, it’s just not a vacation without some trekking, snorkelling or kayaking in the mix. Our multi-active tours crank the excitement up a notch with a wide range of outdoor thrills in some of the world’s most beautiful places. Think cycling in Jordan, whitewater rafting in Costa Rica or hiking in the Canadian Rockies. We're talking about places where cobbled laneways are replaced by vine-covered jungle paths, skyscrapers are dwarfed by soaring mountains, and the quickest way to get from A to B is a zip-line instead of a taxi.

The people who make our trips great

Intrepid leader, Tri Nguyen
Tri, Vietnam

"For me, travelling is all about the journey. There’s no better way to experience the beauty of Vietnam than by paddling through Cat Ba’s secluded lagoons on a kayak, trekking through Sapa and staying with a local family, or cycling through lush valleys from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh."

Intrepid leader Giovanni explains safety instructions with the Amalfi Coast in the background
Giovanni, Italy

"Office views don’t get better than the Path of the Gods. I've been leading hikes along the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula for over 12 years – and it never gets old. There’s something new to experience on every trip, whether it’s sharing cultures with travellers from around the world or seeing the joy on their faces as we kayak to a hidden beach."

Intrepid leader, Imalay
Imalay, Costa Rica

"Nothing beats the feeling of spotting sloths and hummingbirds in Monteverde Cloud Forest, getting the adrenaline pumping as we raft the rapids of the Pacuare River or paddleboarding with a backdrop of Arenal Volcano. Being active while surrounded by Mother Nature is the best way to see the world."

Fiji: Hike, Raft & Snorkel

Mary · Traveled July 2024
The guides Jake and Ben we had on this trip were truly guardians of Fiji’s natural and cultural heritage. We witnessed their commitment not just to us as tourists in their care..but also their commitment and relationships with the communities and villages we visited. They are truly impressive men.

Loc and Singh were amazing to travel the north with. The home stays were beautiful and we saw so many beautiful landscapes through the hiking, biking and kayaking activities that you just wouldn’t see by car. Highly recommend!

Sri Lanka: Hike, Bike & Kayak

Annika · Traveled July 2024
We got to see lots of Sri Lanka in not much time. We expected more/more substantial physical activities from this trip. Group size of 10 was perfect. Had to spend a lot of money for not included (but also not optional) meals.
