An Unforgettable Journey to the Roof of the World
My recent Tibet: Beijing to Kathmandu Overland trip with Intrepid Travel was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we set foot on the Great Wall to the breathtaking views of Everest, every moment was filled with wonder and awe.

This trip was one of the best travel experiences of my life. Tibet is like nowhere else on earth both in landscape and culture and I will be forever grateful to Pema our leader for sharing his home with us. Be aware that the train can be cramped and throughout the trip the standard of cleanliness in toilets was lacking - as long as you can deal with that you will have an incredible trip. Suggest booking prenights in Beijing to explore on your own.
