Imagine a magical place where ancient ruins crumble between lush greenery, rocky cliffs tower out of the Mediterranean Sea and quaint towns sit above the southern coastline – this is Lycia, and your chance to explore it all. Spend an unforgettable week walking along the Lycian Way – a path once used by ancient Greeks and Romans – joined by a local leader who will add historical context to all your discoveries. You’ll reach ancient cities like Olympos, Aperlai and Sidyma by foot – your journey through the wilderness, making the ancient ruins that much sweeter to explore. You’ll get your blood pumping and ignite your passion for the outdoors but still enjoy time to rest and rejuvenate between hikes. Think afternoon boat tours on the Mediterranean, cultural activities, traditional meals and sunsets by the water to make sure you're balancing work and play. If you can call scenic hikes to incredible locations work, that is.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip: hiking, swimming, history and lots of seafood. Onur was very engaged and approachable. Personally, group tours can be a bit exhausting for me being on the go, but there's no other way to accomplish such a unique itinerary. Highly recommend!

Say the beautiful Lycian Coast in wonderful Turkey. Appreciate it's antiquity and it's people. Enjoy the forests and seaside beauty of the Mediterranean. Eat drink and be merry with a like minded crew. You won't regret a decision to visit the "Lycian Way".

We had a fantastic time on the Walk the Highlights of the Lycian Way trip! The hikes were not too challenging, only the hot weather in the beginning made them a little bit more difficult. Nevertheless, the overall selection of trails was great, offering breathtaking sea views, serene walks through pine forests, visits to awe-inspiring ruins, and enriching insights into the history of both ancient and modern Turkey. The program was perfectly paced with hiking during the day and swimming at the beach before dinner. We also had free time if we want to do something else like kayaking. We stayed in the most adorable little villages on the coast in small family run guesthouses and ate at local restaurant the most delicious fresh food! In summary, this trip far exceeded my expectations! I am certain that we saw a side of Turkey that we would have never seen had we travelled independently. We also got to meet great people – our group was small, so we got to know each other a little bit and learn about different cultures. Our deepest gratitude is reserved for Onur, our group leader, who was the just the best! His organization was excellent - we were always on time everywhere, everything working according to the plan. He explained to us so much about the history with passion and a great sense of humor that it was just a pleasure to listen to his stories. Overall, he went out of his way to make sure everyone had the best time during the trip! We had an incredible time, and we owe a great deal of it to him. Thank you, Onur, for everything!
