Our Comfort trips are all about adventure, with a higher level of comfort than our Original and Basix trips. These slower-paced trips are built to smooth some of travels rougher edges, meaning you’ll be on private transport more often, the pace will be more relaxed and your accommodation will be a touch above the essentials. You’ll also be treated to more included meals and leader-led activities, with a focus on embracing all things local.

Where we stay ensures we keep our travelers firmly entrenched in a region’s people and culture, and provides them with unique local experiences that benefits the community too. In most locations we stay in comfortable hotels, though on most of our trips we also get to stay a night or two in some pretty special feature stays on most trips.Â

Our Comfort-style trips follow a more structured itinerary and feature more included activities. This leaves you to reap the benefits of more time in the company of a local leader – and their local knowledge.
Several meals are included – all of your breakfasts along the way and then perhaps visits to some of our favorite restaurants with your group to get a taste of the region.
How you'll get around
Our Comfort trips mostly use private vehicles, though in some destinations we seek out unique modes of transport for speed and convenience.
This could be anything from a bullet train through the Japanese countryside, a traghetto ride on the canals of Venice or a sailing trip down the Nile River on a private felucca.
