The Discover Egypt tour went well beyond my expectations. It was impressive how much our guide knew about the history and culture. Our guide, Mudi, could answer all our random questions about pharaohs and temples, and he was also able to translate obscure hieroglyphs. Our tour was a good mix of top tourist destinations and a genuine dose of Egyptian culture. My hope is future tours will allow the women in the kitchen to join the dinner and share their experiences. Our guide made us feel safe and inclusive, which was essential to me as a solo traveller. In addition, his street-smart knowledge meant no one was ripped off at the local markets, and instead, he took us to local Egyptian-owned businesses.

This was a trip of a lifetime! Egypt was top of my bucket list and this trip exceeded all expectations! If you are fortunate enough to have Mahmoud as a guide you are in great hands. Don’t hesitate!! We had the trip of a lifetime with our wonderful guide Walid. Egypt is such an interesting destination with so much history and you will be amazed every day. The people, the food, the temples out of this world. Intrepid ran a fantastic 12 day tour covering the top “to see” places. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 10/10

If you are considering coming to Egypt I would highly recommend this Intrepid tour. The guides are very knowledgeable and you only need a moderate amount of fitness. The accommodation is varied and great.
