Thailand Tours & Vacations

Thailand is an idyllic paradise, where jungle-covered karsts plunge into aquamarine waters and the sand is sugar white.

But no matter how clichéd the fantasy, Thailand delivers in spades. The water around Krabi and Ko Tao really is that deep, cool shade of blue. Phi Phi’s limestone karsts really do look like some alien world. And the food? Let’s just say your local Pad Thai has nothing on Chiang Mai’s street stalls or the floating markets of Amphawa, where little old ladies do things with fish sauce and chili you never thought possible. From the waterfalls of Erawan to a homestay with the hill tribes of the Golden Triangle, these adventures go beyond the tourist traps. Buckle up.

The 3 day River Kwai and ancient Thai kingdoms tour is definitely worth doing, and Sasha and Mr Tick were fantastic.

Thailand Beaches: Bangkok to Phuket

Jenny · Traveled April 2024
A great way to see some of Bangkok before heading down to the beaches for a more relaxed trip. Go to Bank a few days before to make the most of your time there if you can. I loved the kayaking and also did the additional elephant sanctuary, both were excellent.

Bangkok to Singapore

Farida · Traveled April 2024
Met some great people on this trip. The trip leader, Jane was not the best in my opinion. She was difficult to understand and had very poor communication for much of the trip. Especially, when we had two major issues occur (traveler that was losing her mind due medical issues I’m assuming and verbally attacked travelers in the group and when two of the travelers in our group left their passports behind in a hotel safe). Both issues were eventually handled but initially poorly managed! As for the itinerary there was a lot of “free time” on this itinerary and hardly any lunches or dinners covered. That said, I still enjoyed the trip and would recommend it but maybe with a leader who can manage stress better and have better communication skills. Or train Jane on some basic IT skills (how to set up a WhatsApp group) and communicate regularly and more proactively.
