Pacific Northwest Tours & Holidays

If you think the Pacific Northwest is all hiking, coffee and craft beer...

you'd be absolutely correct. But it's some of the best hiking, coffee and craft beer in North America. Encompassing Washington, Oregon and parts of Canada's British Columbia, the Pacific Northwest is known for its impressive glacier-laced mountain ranges, rugged coastlines, perpetually green forests and quirky cities. While the region does have a bit of a rainy reputation, you'll never be far from a hot cup of coffee; Seattle is the birthplace of Starbucks, after all. PNW locals cherish their outdoor activities, so lace up your hiking boots and grab your reusable mug... it's time to explore the best of the "Upper Left."

If you want a trip that is full of stunning scenery and exposure to the amazing wildlife of Canada then this is the trip for you. I had high expectations and they were exceeded. Seeing a Grizzly in the wild was so cool.

As a mature, single woman, I was afraid to travel alone even though I longed to travel. Then I heard about Intrepid and took an amazing tour into the Pacific Northwest. It has opened up the world to me!

A beautiful, fairly relaxed trip in a really special part of the country. The itinerary is well paced and well organised so super enjoyable. The scenery is beautiful in both sunshine and mist so don’t worry about the weather- just embrace it.

Canadian Rockies

I had an amazing time on this trip! Our guides Marguerite and Rosalie were so friendly, knowledgeable and competent, it made it easy to just have fun. Don't worry if you've got limited experience in canoeing- the canoe trip was very newbie-friendly on a calm and beautiful lake. This trip is a great way to see a lot of the Rockies in a short time, and there's such a great variety of hikes and activities for a range of physical levels. Every day we woke up surrounded by incredible landscapes, learned so much about the Canadian Rockies and got to see a variety of wildlife! This trip is a great way to experience the Rockies surrounded by nature.
