Italy Tours & Vacations

Cruise canals, peruse piazzas, veer towards the Vatican and polish off the perfect pizza.

Italy may be one of Europe's most-visited countries, but finding your way around Venice’s canals, choosing the best place for gelato in Rome and knowing your agnello from your agnolotti are skills best learned from locals. Between tasting balsamic vinegar in a traditional acetaia in Modena and sailing past pastel-hued cliffside villages on the Amalfi Coast to sampling local wine in Tuscany's vineyards and admiring lesser-known Renaissance art in Florence, one thing's for sure: you won’t be going hungry.

This was an outstanding trip to see parts of Italy that so many people talk about. Now I can say that I’ve been there and experienced the beauty of the Amalia Coast with an outstanding Captain

Our tour of Sicily has come to an end and I feel I want more! It has been a fabulous experience with the best Leader and local guides. I would highly recommend Intrepid and will plan another trip with this organisation. This was my first group tour and I look forward to the next one 😊

Sardinia & Corsica Sailing Adventure

Ava · Traveled July 2024
Captain Fotis was incredible. He is a highly skilled sailor and exactingly minded the sails and winds. He also watched over everything like whether or not we had enough provisions and where it was safe to swim. Would travel with Intrepid again. Please also see my other positive comments about him & the trip.
